Our professional staff will undergo a
comprehensive orientation/training in addition
to monthly training seminars/meetings.
Training is done until the Consumer feels
comfortable with their level of personal care
and until our attendants are familiar with the
Consumer’s daily routine.
Criminal background checks are completed,
references verified and all potential employees
are drug tested at the time of hire and randomly
thereafter. NPC also requires their employees
to have a TB test and pass a CPR/Basic First Aid
course. This is all completed for the safety of
our Consumers. The last thing you should have to
worry about is your attendant’s qualifications.
All of our employees must demonstrate the
capability to perform activities specified in
the Consumer’s Service Analysis plan. They must
be compassionate, caring and understanding of
the needs of the elderly and/or disabled. They
must be available for the Consumer’s time
schedule.
EMPLOYMENT SCREENING At
Nealen Personal Care, our employment screening
includes a face to face interview, in which we
require potential employees to have two
verifiable references, specifically relating to
their care-giving experience. They must possess
a valid social security number and be 18 years
of age or older. We require reliable
transportation, car insurance and a check of
their DMV records. We reserve the right to
randomly and periodically re-check their DMV
records and their Criminal Background.
